   WHY SELF-HOSTED, not the Google CDN: a <link> to fonts.googleapis.com
   makes every visitor's browser send their IP address to Google before
   the page renders. Under GDPR that is a transfer to a third party with

   These are VARIABLE fonts, so one file per family per subset serves
   every weight. The separate font-weight rules below therefore point
   at the same file on purpose.

   Subsets kept: latin and latin-ext. latin-ext is REQUIRED - it carries
   the Slovak and Czech diacritics, and the client names on this site
   need them.

   THE AXIS TRAP, hit and fixed on 15-09-2026. Google's css2 endpoint
   serves a file carrying ONLY the axes the URL asks for. A request of
   the form `family=Anybody:wght@300;400;500` returns a genuinely
   different file with NO width axis. That matters here because base.css
   sets `font-variation-settings: "wdth" ...` on the wordmark, the brand
   name, h1 and every section head, and site.js ANIMATES that axis
   during the boot scroll - all of which is silently inert against a
   wght-only file. Nothing errors; the wordmark just shrinks instead of
   narrowing. So the request must name both axes with their ranges:

     family=Anybody:wdth,wght@50..150,300..700
     family=Archivo:wdth,wght@62..125,400..700

   Verify after ANY regeneration: this file must contain
   `font-stretch: 50% 150%` for Anybody and `font-stretch: 62% 125%` for
   Archivo. If either says `font-stretch: 100%`, the axis is gone.

   To regenerate: fetch the css2 URL with a modern browser user agent,
   keep the latin and latin-ext blocks, download each woff2 into fonts/
   and rewrite each url() to a relative path.
